The NDIS support coordination ensures that people with disabilities get the funds they require to live a positive and care-free life. With the help of a proper support coordinator, a participant can uncover the right service provider, get the perfect service according to their requirements, and gain sufficient knowledge about their plan.
The NDIS support coordinator advises the clients on how to get more out of their plans with the help of a registered support coordinator. They always ensure to provide the best plan for the clients so that they can make the most of their funding facility. They help navigate the NDIS plan management system and the NDIS portal to make the participants independent in dealing with their plans.
NDIS support coordinator can help you in the following way:
- Develop a plan that aligns with your NDIS goals
- Find the right way to allocate funding as per your needs
- Help you to choose the right provider
- Assist in coordinating and scheduling your services based on your NDIS plan
- Provide information about the local community’s services, especially for the people with disabilities

Funding your Aid
A participant’s funding will be based on the criteria that the NDIA monitors. It should be what is ‘reasonable and necessary’ detected by the NDIS. The support coordination will be included in the capacity-building. Although the budget is fixed for individual participants according to the choice of their plans , support coordination can help to improve the individual’s funding under the NDIS guidance. The support coordination may alter due to the diverse conditions and circumstances of the participants.
- A participant can have a particular level of support coordination specified according to the plan, which can be added later.
- NDIS will provide only ‘reasonable and necessary’ support, and more funding can be added as additional support if needed.
During your visit to the NDIS plan budget, you can discuss your worries with the support coordinator to ensure that you receive the proper level of support coordination in your NDIS plan as required. The support coordinator’s fees remain included in your budget, and they will depend on the level of support coordinator you choose according to your plan.
